The Nationalist Movement Party regards values such as basic principles of the Republic, Turkish national identity, democratic regime and fundamental human rights as indispensable and refuses to debate these values in search of consensus.

There is no doubt that a general consensus to be built on an understanding where local and regional differences are deemed as richness of Turkish culture and its complementary colors will provide a very important contribution for social peace.

Our Party, considering republic and democracy as two concepts completing each other, and any understanding which shows them incompatible as damaging, gives a great importance to continuity of the Republic in progress and enrichment of democratic structure and culture.
